Living in Danville

Why choose Danville as a place to live? Ask Danville residents and you will get a lot of different answers but you will soon realize that there are a number of common themes.

Danville is still a small town that has successfully kept its character and individuality, despite the fact that more modern developments are taking place all around. We have excellent schools at all levels, a diverse population, low crime and high quality of life.

In Danville, there are outstanding recreational facilities, first-class restaurants as well as budget ones, parks, places of worship for all denominations and no significant traffic problems. We are in easy reach of freeways for access to Walnut Creek, San Francisco, San Jose and beyond. For weekends away we can be in the Napa Valley, on the coast or in the mountains in no time and we have one of the best climates you could imagine. Where else would you want to live?

The only real negative is the relatively high price of Real Estate, but on the plus side, once you are in the market, if the past is anything to go by, you will be hard pressed to find anywhere better to invest your hard earned money. And although prices are high compared with many other parts of the country, they are significantly lower than they used to be since the recent national decline in real estate values.
