About The Bernard Gibbons Real Estate Team

Hello there:

This is where I get to tell you a little about myself and my team so you can decide if you think that we should be the ones you need to help you sell your home or to represent you when you buy a home. And make no mistake about it, you do need an agent to represent your interests when you buy a home. I know there are those buyers who believe it is simpler, or somehow "better" to let the listing agent write an offer but this is simply not true. If anything goes wrong during the course of the transaction, the listing agent has a primary fiduciary responsibility to the seller, regardless of the circumstances. You need independent representation!

I am a full time REALTOR® affiliated with J Rockcliff Realtors, the premier East Bay real estate brokerage. My office is in Danville although I work mostly out of my home office in San Ramon. I specialize in helping nice people to buy and sell homes, not just in Danville but throughout The San Ramon Valley and Lamorinda .

I was born and raised in England where I worked mostly in the computer industry, initially as a software engineer and later in international recruitment and relocation specializing in the marketing side. My sales, marketing and relocation background have proved invaluable in my real estate career, not to mention my earlier exposure to technology, something I have never lost touch with. I use technology more than most agents - I am an e-PRO, the only Internet related designation recognized by the National Association of Realtors and held by less than 1.5% of Realtors.

I moved to California in 1990 and I currently live in San Ramon but I have also lived in Orinda , Pleasant Hill , Danville and Walnut Creek. I know Danville and the San Ramon Valley and Lamorinda very well.

My wife, Sylvia, and my daughter, Michelle, pictured above right, are also licensed Realtors who work with me. Michelle also works with her own clients based on relationships she has forged over 20 years as a real estate profesaional but both Michelle and Sylvia work as Buyers Agents with me and of course we all cover for each other as This is a great benefit as we can cover for each other whenever there is a need. They also work very closely with me as Buyers Agents. Having three licensed Realtors on the team means that we can give all of our buyers the atention they deserve.

My core personal values are Integrity, Loyalty, Commitment and Enthusiasm. When I list your home for sale, I am absolutely determined to get you the best possible price in a time frame that works for you. When we work with you as a buyer, our aim is to get you the home that is exactly right for you at the best possible price.

My cell phone is (925) 997-1585 and it is switched on from 8am until 8pm every day. On the rare occasions I do not answer, this is because I am either talking to somebody else or in a meeting.
